Wonderful to have the click-raft at INEX trade show Auckland, together with the beautiful Obodo timber insulated cassette panel, thin skin PSP polycarbonate panel, samples from Colour Steel and plenty of images of projects built and in progress - a good opportunity for people to see it up close. Many thanks to Mathew Hay for storing and supplying it to site, to Yusef and his wonderful student army for on-site assembly and Heidi from PrefabNZ and Vikram from Makers - what a fabulous team!

Callaghan Innovation - Lab Office Pod

CMA+U with Makers and PTL structural engineers are full steam ahead on the rapid design, fabrication and assembly of a click-raft laboratory office pod for Callaghan Innovation at their Gracefield campus. The structure is a double span click-raft of 20m2 clad with insulated plywood cassettes and polycarbonate panels, supported on a minimal black steel frame to maximise space below and to provide office workspace for six researchers within the new pod which also provides a good overview of the laboratory space below.
