c20 Lab Pod finalist for "Engineering Excellence" in NZ Wood Awards

The c20 Lab Pod for Callaghan Innovation has been selected as a finalist in the NZ Wood Awards (winners to be announced 20th September). A very big thank you to our brave clients Richard Perry and Mike Williams at Callaghan Innovation and our collaborators Makers Fabrication and PTL engineers who were both essential to the realisation of this wee gem.

Dune House

we're really excited to be working on a new click-raft project which sits parallel to its dune landscape like a small outrigger.  The building is designed for off-site fabrication combining steel frames with click-raft cassettes wrapped in translucent polycarbonate to create a wonderful open double height living volume. The upper level contains compact bathroom and bedrooms within the click-raft substructure.

Affordable Housing - Fabrication begins!

2018 has begun with a bang! The 40m2 (c30 + c10) House has building consent and off-site fabrication is underway at the Makers factory. Its a very exciting way to start the new year - we're off!
